Multiple income streams alongside the work she loves

RHEA JAMES FOX · WRITER · MALTA

Rhea already did well working for herself and had a gift for winning contracts and clients. Her income rose and fell with those clients, so she planned month to month, with a lot of stress, big bursts of outreach and stretches of overload.

"Working with Cleo was alchemical. I felt deeply held and understood, which is a natural gift of hers. She was the support I needed as I built strategic partnerships and collaborations, and created multiple income streams alongside my writing.

Our sessions gave me space to get everything out, and through ritual, deep inquiry and her frameworks, Cleo reflected my ideas and decisions into a clear picture so I could take decisive action for the fortnight ahead, with clarity and confidence. She held my vision with me with unwavering faith, and I made so much progress. Cleo is the real deal."

What emerged

  • I identified my key strengths and created strategic partnerships and collaborations to create additional income streams

  • Together, these income streams created a sustainable and predictable income

  • Steady, lasting income, and the freedom to plan years ahead at an even pace

  • A framework I still use today to help me identify the ideas I'm going to take action on and the ideas I need to use my partnerships and collaborations for

Clear value, a community that grows with it

THE WOMEN’S BOOK COLLECTIVE

A really cool vibe and community, but feedback showed it wasn't clear what value people were receiving from its offerings, and there was no long-term direction.

WHAT WE WORKED ON

Sorting the community feedback that helped from the feedback that sat outside the collective's values. Then building a community-focused business model that grows with its partners, and a feedback loop to keep listening.

The business looked into how the modern world is changing the way we interact with one another, and explores how this will impact what friendship looks like for women. As society begins to challenge what is real and fake, events are a great way for real, in-person connection. The Substack acts as the vessel that everyone can access, no matter their budget.

15 Partnerships

A live ecosystem of relationships that builds a sustainable and profitable business across events and book club subscriptions.

Strengths focused

Balancing the multi-founder partnership, so each strength is harnessed in balance with one another while respecting each founder's expression.

What emerged

- A community-focused business model that grows alongside its partners

- New partnerships and revenue streams

- A feedback loop to spot community needs before the community has named them

Knowing her value, landing the role

ARIEL MAREROA

Ariel had gone for the same role over several years and kept missing out. Her technical skills got real results, but those results were hard to measure.

"I had gone for this role for years and kept missing out. Working with Cleo, I came to see that my standout strengths are relationships and communication, quite separate from my technical skills. She helped me measure the value I bring and approach challenges in a way that works for me. I walked into my next interview knowing what set me apart. I got the job, and because I could clearly name the value of my skills, I negotiated a higher salary. I trust Cleo's people and leadership experience completely, and I'm continuing to build on who I am and dream big."

What emerged

  • Named her standout strengths in relationships and communication, separate from her technical skills

  • Clear language for how those strengths set her apart, and sharper interview skills

  • Got the role at her next interview, and negotiated a higher salary
